Dangermuffin (2:00 to 3:00)
Band Website Dangermuffin is a power trio, providing a much needed fresh perspective on American roots music. This is not your uncle's back porch blues band, folks. These guys slice and dice their chops in a way that always keeps the dance floor dangerous. What sets Dangermuffin ahead of the pack is the refreshingly magnetic songwriting of Dan Lotti, coupled with strong, articulate vocals that frame each song. The guy can flat out sing. In Dangermuffin, Americana music has found a new level of groove, anchored by the creative beats of Steven Sandifer (Drew Emmitt Band, The BiscuitBoys) and embellished by the fluid guitar work of Mike Sivilli. The product is a punchy,folk-jam pastry for the sweet-toothed soul of the South.

The result is a warm, honest approach that at once sounds like something completely new and strangely familiar. The music is clean and raucous country-twinged rock that would be equally at home in a dive bar as it would be in a classic theater.
